Olympic National Park
Washington state’s Olympic National Park offers the photographer three distinct terrains: mountain, rainforest and coastline. The latter is some of the most pristine in the contiguous United States. The shores are lines with massive logs of felled driftwood, and the beaches contain some of the most accessible and photogenic tide pools in the country. Standing guard over all of this are massive sea stacks that define the landscape.
Prominent photography opportunities in Olympic include: wildlife, landscape, nature, mountains, waterfalls, wildflowers, coastline, rainforest, coastal fog.
